The Descendants of the 88th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment have begun what we hope will be a lasting traditon to honor our ancestors.
Each spring and fall, together with members of the 88th Pennsylvania Infantry, Co. A
reenactors we gather at the Eighty-Eighth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment Monument at Gettysburg to clear weeds, brush and scrub pines from the grounds of which the Eighty-Eighth fought on July 1, 1863.
The spring cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the 88th PVI Monument on Oak Ridge.
The fall cleanup will be scheduled in November 2018 at the 88th PVI Monument on Oak Ridge.
We hope everyone will be able to join us for a great day of fellowship.
